You can make a difference.

With visual magnifying devices such as high-powered eye-glasses and loupes, and some training, children with low vision – even children with less than 10% of their vision – can be integrated into local schools. With a pair of $4 eyeglasses or a $35 loupe, a young person can go from functional blindness to functional sight.
