How big is the problem?
- An estimated 650 million people, or 10% of
the world's population, have a disability.
- An estimated 30 million people are deaf.
A further 20 million are hearing impaired.
- Approximately 30 million people are physically
disabled.
- An estimated 100 million are intellectually
challenged.
Each year cbm and our Partners…
- Provide medical treatment to 110,000 ear patients
and 188,000 orthopaedic patients.
- Give rehabilitative care to
more than 305,000 people with disabilities other than blindness.
But we need your help to do more
- For $36 you can give a child a hearing aid
- the gift of communication.

pair of braces, crutches and special shoes - the gift of
walking.

- the gift of mobility.

of a national Community Worker - the gift of sustainability.
